Have kidney pain and doctor wants to prolong labor?

I have a history of pyelonephritis and kidney obstruction leading to moderate hydronephrosis. My perinatologist in the past deliver early because of the risk of kidney damage. This time my doctors are ignoring my symptoms and my pain become so bad that I scream and cry for hours. They have been giving me gesics to curtail the pain but now that is not working well. I am 37 weeks according to my 20 week sonogram because I had a period in september on the 15th and then bleeding on October 1-3. The doctor did an amnio on Friday and said the baby was not ready. Which confuses me because the nurse botched the test because she was supposed to put the tubes in ice to be sent and left it sitting for an hour after the doctor did the amniocentesis. She was on tech support trying to fix the computer. The test results were 15 which makes my son at the age of 33-34 weeks which is not possible and I am certain that the test results were scewed do to the lack of competency of the nurse.
