Can you refuse a pelvic during your physical??

Hey There .. alrighty so i've been debating goign for a physical but the one thing that is actually plaguing my mind is the pelvc exam. I understand its a lifesaving proceedure for woman.. like im 18 but am still a virgan so can i just say oh! i havent had so i dont need one? or what can i say that wont make me feel awkard going and saying that to her ... will i regret not getting one ( as in wont feel 100% okay know my body doenst have cancer) I dunno i just feel that going up there is awkard. I have enough problems going swimming in a bathing suit in front or ppl and having my leg spread isnt that great of a feeling. Help if you can
