Who are the "white" people?

People of European/Caucasian descent are what are usually perceived as "White People". This includes not only Anglo-Saxon and Nordic types but also Southern European and Mediteranean types such as Italians, Spaniards and Greeks. Some Middle-Eastern people are technically white too. Even though some Asians have fair skin, they do not have Caucasian features which is what the term White is heavily based on. Contrary to popular belief many Hispanics and Latinos (including Mexicans) are White because they have pure (or mostly pure) European Spanish ancestry. The majority of Hispanics are mixed with Native American or Black though.
