Boston, February 27 - March 4: what should I wear?

Hello everyone. I'm going to Boston and I'm really confused because I just can't decide what to pack. I live in Russia (Moscow), so I'm used to early spring being c-c-cold, but I don't want to pack clothes which are too warm. I've found some information about temperature ranges in March and February, but these numbers just don't give me the feeling of what it's like to be there. Could you please give me some examples of clothing & footwear? It would be a great help.
